A Variety of Worship Styles

Zoar offers several distinct worship styles on Sunday morning.  Our 8:00am service is traditional.  The worship music is mostly hymns featuring a Senior Adult choir.  Our 9:30am service is blended with some traditonal hymns and contemporary songs.  This service features the worship choir, praise band and praise team.  The 11:00am auditorium class also includes worship elements, such as special music and congreational songs. Each service contains a Biblically based sermon with life application.   At Zoar you can find a worship style that suits you!

We'd Love for You to Join Us

Zoar is conveniently located at 11848 Hooper Road in Central.

Randle Lowrance

Associate Pastor/Worship

In early January of 2002 Randle joined the staff to lead Zoar’s multi-generational church as Worship Pastor. Randle and his family quickly put down roots in Central and became active and involved in making a difference in the community. Born and raised in “green country” Oklahoma. “Randy” as his momma calls him still has fond memories of listening to his dad singing and his uncles playing western swing music on their guitars on Friday nights unless if was football season of course and the warmth and laughter of a close knit family. Exposed to a variety music as youngster ranging from the Beatles, The Beach Boys to Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, Frank Sinatra, and of course Merle Haggard, Randle has been deeply in5uenced by those relationships and experiences and has a profound appreciation for every style of music. Blessed with lots of rhythm, at the age of 14 when he wasn’t playing baseball he began recording and playing drums in country bands and rock bands around town. In addition to playing drums and singing, Randle would pick up the guitar and keyboards later and begin to write music. At age 16 Randle would experience the greatest day of his life when he discovered God’s unconditional love and would realize he was lost and would place his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Randle’s life was forever changed and would never be the same. As he grew in his relationship with Christ he soon found out he not only talents but now had gifts that would be the foundation of his life calling and purpose. Randle’s heartbeat and passion is to worship God. This “Okie from Muskogee” believes we're here on this earth to help people discover their worth to God and how worthy God is of ALL our praise and ALL our worship that goes well beyond just a Sunday morning church service. Certainly not an exhaustive list, but a few ways to describe Randle would be as a worshiper leader, musician, sports junkie, encourager, friend, runner, causer of laughter, sweet tea drinker, mentor, songwriter and life long learner. As you spend time getting to him you’ll quickly discover his infectious heart truly is to glorify God and inspire wonder that would cause us to live a life of authentic worship.
