We are Team Britton and we are so honored to be a part of Zoar's Missions team! Stephen and I are the proud parents of the not-so-little Britton boys: Ethan, Eli, Aaron, and Ryan. We live in Wake Forest, North Carolina where Stephen is finishing up his master’s degree in Ministry Leadership at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Stephen and I have the privilege of serving some of the world's most vulnerable people. We work with a parachurch ministry, 127 Worldwide, who exists to connect local churches in the US to the needs of orphans and widows around the world. 127 Worldwide gets its name from James 1:27 – “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
We partner with local leaders in Kenya, Uganda, and Guatemala who are already tangibly living out James 1:27. We come alongside them to join in the kingdom work of caring for the least of these and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with them.
Stephen and I travel a few times a year to visit our partners and those we serve in country. The rest of the year, we speak to people in the US about the global orphan crisis and how their local churches can help. We use our voices for the voiceless (Proverbs 31:8).
Our God is the Father of the fatherless and the protector of widows (Psalm 68:5). It’s our joy to reflect His heart to the world. Together, with you, we do. Thank you for supporting us!
