Susan Allendorf has been on staff with Cru (CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST) for 33 years. She served previously within Cru in the Campus Ministry, International School of Theology, Nairobi International School of Theology, Orlando Institute and CrossRoads.
For the last 17 years, Susan has served on the Women’s Resources team in Cru’s Global Leadership Office in Orlando, Florida. She is currently the team’s office manager and prayer coordinator, manager of their Prayer for Prodigals website and a writer for their Global Staff Women website.
The Women’s Resources team assists Judy Douglass, wife of Cru’s president, as she relates to friends of the ministry, partners in the body of Christ and practices hospitality to many. The team also serves with her in providing a community to equip and connect Cru staff women in every step of life so they may grow in unity, faith and knowledge toward maturity in Christ.
Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. They help to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by: winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others.
Cru works to win, build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples who launch spiritual movements. Over the years they have developed effective resources such as The Jesus Film and they partner with others in the body of Christ in evangelism and discipleship.
Susan grew up at Zoar and graduated from LSU. She is a widow and mother of a grown, special-needs daughter, Amy. Amy lives an hour away from Susan in a supported-living community called Noah’s Ark in Lakeland, FL. On most Saturdays, Susan is with Amy in Lakeland. They enjoy spending time together and occasionally doing day trips together around the Central Florida area.
